Bereavement & Grief
When we lose someone close to us, we can often feel the urge to close ourselves off from the outside world in an attempt to lessen the pain we feel. It’s important to know that you don’t have to go through this difficult time alone. There are people who want to help and care about you getting better.
That’s what we do here at Soulistic Hospice. We provide you with the support and emotional counseling you need to get through some of the most difficult times in life—losing a loved one or dealing with a loved one who is currently receiving hospice care. Although time is the greatest healer, we can help you work through your feelings in a safe environment full of people who understand what you’re going through.
Soulistic can provide bereavement services and grief counseling in Tucson and Southern Arizona to families, partners, caregivers, and close friends in Tucson and Southern Arizona for up to a year after the death of a loved one under the Medicare Hospice Benefit. We even provide grief support group services in Southern Arizona locations, such as Tucson and Tubac, for those that prefer to share their experiences and lean on each other in times of need.
Our hospice bereavement services and grief counseling include visits and phone calls from our bereavement therapy coordinator or bereavement volunteers, along with the opportunity for people receiving counseling to participate in support groups.
We can provide bereavement and grief counseling in Tucson and Southern Arizona even if the death occurred outside of our hospice care.
Our bereavement coordinator can also provide information about other local grief support group resources that exist within the Tucson and Southern Arizona communities. Whichever way you think would help you the most is the one we want to support. No matter what you’re going through, trust in Soulistic Hospice to have your back through the most difficult times.
